Shamit Khemka – a winner manifested

What makes a certain man a winner in situations that synonym impossible for rest? The question has troubled mankind since the time immemorial and hasn’t lost its vigor today.

Perhaps the answer lies in knowing how to differentiate and finding resemblance in what we do.

Winners, irrespective of their geographical, cultural and all other material differences, rear a common belief that ‘success as a journey’ and tend to compare their achievements with the goal to be reached. On the contrary, losers compare their achievements with those of other people.

Take the example of Shamit Khemka, the CEO of Synapse communications PVT LTD. When he started Synapse in 2000 with a modest budget of 6 Lakhs and five rented computers, there were whales dominating the outsourcing arena. But, Shamit sticked to his vision and worked on his innovative plans.

The result is there to been by one and all. Synapse is now one of the leading outsourcing companies of India with prestigious CMMI level 3 accreditation. Thanks to some wonderful employee-centric management policies, Synapse has registered a 100% growth rate per year for last 8 years now.

Had Shamit compared himself with the whales of outsourcing, the scenario might had been different. He believed in his strengths and counted on them.

Budding entrepreneurs can find a reason or two more.
