Age of a person is never the deciding factor of his/her success. Rather, it is experience and critical ability of the person to tackle challenges that make him/her successful.
Shamit Khemka, the founder of Synapse Communications, started his first venture Pharos in his early twenties. Here he set up India’s first BBS system with email facility. His second venture was online real estate database Sampatti.com.
Both these ventures were unique in nature and brought laurels for Shamit’s innovative abilities.
In the year 2000, Shamit started his third and biggest venture Synapse Communications. It is an IT outsourcing company specializing in quality software development at lower cost. Here also, Shamit’s unique approach made him the winner again. Synapse, within just eight years of inception, got affiliations from NASSCOM, FICCI; bagged prestigious CMMI level-3 accreditation and Microsoft Gold partnership.
The company has also registered more than 100 percent growth rate every year since then.
Now, Shamit might be just 34 years old, but his innovative ideas and ability to think differently is ensuring his success as an entrepreneur.

Shamit Khemka – the initiator
Anybody can lead when there is surety of success. But, leadership skills are put to acid test when the outcome is unknown. There would be persons in a team with different individual goals and objectives. But, the task of a leader is to figure out the thread of commonness among them and inspire them to comply with the aims and objectives of the entire team.
Shamit Khemka, the founder and owner of Synapse communication believes in this pattern of growth. His initiation – be it a ‘monthly rewards and recognition’ or ‘performance-based bonus program’ helped and motivated team members not only to outscore others but also cross their own previous landmarks. This approach has benefitted both Synapse and its employees.
Evidently, if stats are to be believed, Synapse has registered more than 100% growth per annum since it inception in 2000. Employees too are happy exploring new avenues for skill development and personal growth.
